Baileyana Winery Grand Firepeak Cuvee Chardonnay 2005
The 2005 vintage culminated in an extremely cool September, allowing the grapes to ripen at much lower4 brix levels, both in terms of phenolics and flavor. The result is a finished wine with full, ripe citrus flavors but without higher alcohol; very Burgundian. Wine Enthusiast Notable for very high acidity, this Chard would be aggressive were it not for the ripe, honeyed flavors and creamy texture, which soften it up.
