Nickel & Nickel The flavors of the 2006 Dyer Syrah focus on red and black fruits of raspberry and boysenberry, combined with a nice meatiness that is characteristic of the varietal. Dark chocolate and spice blend with the fruit to add layers of sweetness. This wine is very polished, probably due to the length of time that the fruit spent on the vine. This medley of fruit, chocolate and spice is complemented by the toasty oak, while the fat, silky texture of this wine continues to grow into a well-sculpted finish.
