Borthwick Paper Road CPR 2018

A blend of 55% Pinot Gris, 25% Chardonnay and 20% Riesling, the 2018 Paper Road CPR features aromas of lime zest, bergamot and melon. It's round and ripe on the palate, offering medium body and a silky texture, then backs that with flavors of pear and apple, perhaps even a hint of peach, before turning crisp and citrusy on the finish. It's a slight step up from the solid 2017 version and should drink well through at least 2021.
