Crios Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
|Region||Argentina, Mendoza, Lujan de Cuyo|
There are slightly more spicy aromas in the 2017 Críos Cabernet Sauvignon, partly because of the varietal aromas and partly because some 40% of the wine matured in neutral, well-seasoned oak barrels for about nine months. They like stonier soils for Cabernet Sauvignon, and in the last few years, this has been produced with grapes from the Valle de Uco. They want to avoid green aromas and also the over-ripeness, and the stony soils are the best for that. 90,000 bottles produced.
