2018 was one of the best vintages of all time. The fruit character on the nose of V1 is bright, youthful, concentrated and complex. On the palate, the tenacity of the flavors indicate that the wine is ready to drink. Decanting it is highly recommended if you are too impatient to cellar it like. Currently the palette boasts layers of dark cherries, cola, spice and cacao but expect other flavors to emerge with time, tobacco, leather, dark chocolate and mocha to name a few.
